Paul Owen is Lead Pastor of the Neighborhood Church since October of 2011. Pastor Paul also serves as overseer of Stafford Academy. Paul's wife Christina is expecting their fourth child this spring and their three children attend the school.
DeLayne Seale was born and raised in the Portland Metro Area. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oral Roberts University in Business Management. DeLayne has been a part of Stafford Academy since its foundation in 2004. She has worn many hats at Stafford Academy. Currently, she is the director for our school. She covers everything from greeting the students at car line, to project and curriculum planning with teachers, to keeping all parents in-the-loop on school activities. When Stafford Academy was established, DeLayne initially worked as the executive assistant which allowed her to see and be involved in many aspects of the school’s growth. She has also been a Stafford Academy parent. Her two youngest children attended and graduated from Stafford so she has great insight about what it's like to be at this school from a parent’s perspective.
DeLayne has been involved in Children's Ministries with the Neighborhood Church for over 25 years. She has served as Missionette Coordinator, Vacation Bible School Director, Preschool teacher and currently teaches in the Sunday school for 4th and 5th graders. DeLayne enjoys traveling, walking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Holly Sorensen was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota and moved to West Linn in February 2012 with her husband and six children. Her husband serves as a Pastor at Community of Faith Church and her children range in ages from 19 down to seven. Mrs. Sorensen has studied at North Dakota State University, Luther College in Iowa and Trinity Bible College in Washington State. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree as well as her Associates in Ministry degree. She has been involved in teaching and ministry for over 25 years and has a huge passion for Jesus, children and music. While living in Maple Valley, Washington, she worked with the Tahoma School District for over eight years and became the Founder and Director of a Children's Music School offering Kindermusik classes as well as private and group piano and voice lessons. She is very excited to serve with the team at Stafford Academy and so thankful for the wonderful children that will be coming into her heart and life.
has taught both Pre-K and preschool at Stafford Academy since 2008. She has
a degree in Early Childhood Education and has been working with children of
all ages in various situations for over 20 years. Prior to joining our staff
at Stafford Academy, Terri taught Preschool at North Clackamas Christian
School, Pre-K at Wilsonville Christian Academy and
homeschooled her children. She has several years experience teaching and
directing in a Before & After School setting and teaching Community School
Classes. Terri loves teaching God's Word to children through stories, drama, object
lessons, and art activities and has taught Sunday School, Awana, VBS, and at
Christian Summer Camps.
Terri teaches children through a variety of hands-on experiences and a thematic approach as well as individualizing learning to each child's needs. She loves to give children the opportunity to get messy and play with items not always welcomed into home environments such as Ooblick, Playdough, Paint, Glue, Pudding, Jello and Shaving Cream. She believes strongly that children learn best through play and that teaching children to have fun and to love learning is a key ingredient to future success in school. One of her favorite sayings is "Childhood is a journey, not a race." She loves to watch children's excitement as they gain new skills, build friendships and begin to believe in, trust and depend on Jesus Christ. Some hobbies Terri enjoys are sewing, crafts, photography, scrapbooking, reading, playing games, walking, baking, country drives and shopping. She feels very blessed to be a part of Stafford Academy and loves serving the Lord through teaching.

She went on to teach first grade at North Clackamas Christian. She has since worked at Mount Olive School for Dyslexic Children, Wilsonville Christian Academy, and Faithful Savior Community School before joining Stafford Academy in 2008 as the first grade teacher.
Tricia enjoys watching young students build confidence as their skills grow and blossom. She enjoys introducing them to new ideas and concepts about the world around them.
Outside of school, Tricia stays busy watching her two daughters play sports, especially soccer. She helps direct the preschool department at her church and loves spending time with her family.
